Books in Translation - Oxford Reading Group

Once a month, a group of ten to fifteen people climb the stairs at Gulp Fiction in Oxford and spend an evening chatting about a book. Not in an academic way - there are no reading lists beyond the book itself, no expertise required, and no wrong answers. But the conversation is proper: hosted, focused, and genuinely exploratory. We read translated fiction from around the world. We take the books seriously. We have a good time.
